French Woods Training Pond

There is a beautiful pond within shouting distance of the French Woods’ main buildings. The pond is separated into two parts by a bridge that the kids like to cast from. The view beyond the ponds extends far into the Delaware River Valley. It is a great place to watch the afternoon thunderstorms when they are far off in the distance. The pond holds catfish, panfish, and Largemouth Bass. There are also two docks that aid the campers with their casting lessons.

When they are not fishing the ponds there are paddle boats that all the kids in camp can use to enjoy some time on the water and to take in the scenery.
